Performing Arts

Saint Jeanne’s has introduced the magical world of theater to our students through the participation in drama instruction, Shakespearean instruction, performances and musicals. Some of the school’s productions include; Alice in Wonderland, Breath on the Embers, Charlie Brown’s Christmas, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Seussical Jr, Dear Edwina, Honk, and The Wizard of Oz.

 

Each Christmas Season, our entire primary school PS – 8, performs in a traditional Christmas Play Pageant which is a treasured favorite amongst our families. In addition, our middle school students have the opportunity to learn and perform vignettes from famous Shakespearean scenes in their language arts classes. Students also have the option to take the theater elective to learn more about the fundamentals of theater performance.
