Uniforms
Uniforms for grades K-8 are to be purchased from Dennis Uniform. Uniforms may be purchased by visiting the store, by phone or ordered online (DENNIS Uniform) and these orders will then be shipped to the home. The school web site code is DJE.
Uniforms for preschool and prekindergarten, shirts are purchased from the Spirit Store and pants from outside vendors (see the Dress Code section under Preschool and Prekindergarten/ and TK in this handbook).
All students must wear their uniform every day, unless a specific dress day is indicated. No substitutions will be allowed.
On the days that students attend Mass or on designated assembly days, everyone is expected to wear Full Dress Uniform, including a tie for both boys and girls. The term "Full Uniform" consists of the Winter Uniform including the regulation uniform sweater (see uniform list for details).
Students may wear the pullover or cardigan with both the Summer and Winter Uniform. Any Saint Jeanne jacket, either purchased through the Spirit Store or through Dennis, can be worn on very cold days, but it must be worn over the school sweater. Any non-school sweat shirts, flannel shirt-type jackets, or hooded flannel cover-ups may not be worn to school.
Haircuts
No drastically tinted, bleached, dyed, or fad hair-styles are permitted. All Hair Styles should be neat, orderly, and natural.
Boys' hair should be clean-cut, tapered and not touch the collar of the uniform shirt or touch the ears. Fad or extreme hairstyles, this includes, but not limited to Mohawk style, are not acceptable. Girl’s hair should be pulled back away from face.
Parents will be notified by teachers or Accountability coach as a reminder.
Hats & Headbands
Only Saint Jeanne’s hats of Beanies are allowed. The hats should be worn with bill facing front. Hats must be removed when inside the buildings. Headbands should be a coordinating color to match school uniform, such as black, grey, white, maroon, tan or brown. Plain headbands are recommended; however, those with bows or ornaments could be worn.
Jewelry
Costume jewelry is not part of the uniform and must not be worn. One small stud, small hoop, or post earring per ear on the bottom of the ear lobe, are allowed for girls. No other body piercing is acceptable. Students may not wear large dangling earrings. Children are permitted to wear a simple watch, one ring, and/or a religious bracelet or religious medal on a simple chain. The school accepts no responsibility for damage, loss, or theft of such items.
Make-up/nail polish
No student (P-8th grade) will be allowed to wear make-up. Students may not wear acrylic or artificial nails. Only clear nail polish is permitted. Chapstick or clear Vaseline is allowed . 8th Grade girls may have some modifications.
Shoes
The acceptable style is a solid black dress shoe or solid black tennis shoe with rubber heels and soles. No high top shoes, white soles or light-up shoes are allowed. These shoes are to be worn with both the summer and winter uniforms. Girls’ heels may not exceed 1 inch in height. No skate boarding/skate tennis shoes are allowed on campus at any time. Shoes required for PE are not acceptable for daily uniform wear.

Kindergarten – 3rd Grade: GIRLS
Walking Shorts Grey, cotton twill, Dennis-issued, can only be worn during summer uniform time
Belt To be worn with the walking shorts or pants (black, navy-blue or dark brown)
Peter Pan Collar white shirt Grades K-4, shirt may also be worn with the uniform walking shorts and pants and can be long or short sleeves
Polo style shirt White or burgundy with school emblem, may be worn with pants, shorts, skort and skirt. It may not be worn with jumper.
School vest optional, may not be worn for Full Dress Uniform
Jumper burgundy/gray/plaid
Skort burgundy/gray/plaid, length is at the knee
Slacks gray (optional during winter uniform time) - MUST be Dennis brand, must be worn with a belt
Sweater Burgundy - cardigan or pullover, with school logo (only Saint Jeanne sweater is allowed)
Socks Must be white, no logos, bows, ruffles, decorations or insignias, must be at least 2 inches above the shoe line. No sport socks are permitted. White tights (no other color is acceptable) may be worn with the winter uniform on cold days. Girls may wear white knee high socks.
Tie cross tie
Jacket Saint Jeanne Jacket or Sweat Shirt ONLY – to be purchased either through Dennis or the Saint Jeanne’s Spirit store
4th Grade: GIRLS

Oxford white blouse to be worn with skirt, shorts or pants, replaces Peter Pan Collar shirt

Slacks gray (optional during winter uniform time) - MUST be Dennis brand, must be worn with a belt, cannot be worn for Full Dress Uniform.
Polo style shirt White or burgundy with school emblem, may be worn with pants, shorts, skirt.
