High School Ministry

Campus Ministry (Ministry of Magis)

Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac High School’s Campus Ministry Department is a Ministry of Magis. “Magis” means to be “better” or “even more,” specifically in our relationship with Jesus. In other words, “magis” challenges us to do more for Christ through doing more for others to reflect and share the love of Christ. Our Ministry of Magis forms students to live out this challenge in their daily lives as high school students and beyond by offering various faith-filled experiences for them to participate in.

In collaboration with students, these experiences include weekly Mass, retreats, worship nights, communal prayer, service opportunities, and immersion study trips for students to build strong, fruitful relationships with God and each other. Ultimately, we seek to accompany students along in their journeys of faith to foster each student’s personal and spiritual growth as well as moral development to become model disciples of Christ.
