WHY CHOOSE SAINT JEANNE DE LESTONNAC CATHOLIC SCHOOL?
The purpose of education at Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac School is to integrate academic scholarship with religious truth as taught by the Roman Catholic Church. Thus our vision is to guide and challenge our students through excellence of teaching to develop a sense of ownership for their own life-long learning, to know and live their faith, to involve themselves in activities that promote the dignity of all human persons ad to participate in building a vibrant faith community.
Our school is a private school, owned and operated by the Sisters of the Company of Mary Our Lady and thus does not have a parish directly associated with it. Our school is recognized by the Diocese of San Bernardino, Saint Catherin of Alexandria Parish, Saint Martha's Parish, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, and the surrounding parishes. The clergy of these parishes are available to our students or liturgies, paraliturgies, and the reception of the sacraments.
Academic excellence is reflected in the quality of our core curriculum established by the school in conjunction with the Diocese of San Bernardino and the State Standards of California. We are served by an exceedingly qualified faculty who strive to provide an exceptional teaching and learning environment for their students. This excellence is quantified by the success of our graduates as they proceed to high school and beyond.
Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac School provides diverse learning opportunities in the fine and performing arts. Each year the school sponsors multiple opportunities for the students to get involved in drama and music. The Christmas and the Catholic Schools Week performance involve the whole school and the spring performance involves grades 4-8th. Middle School students have dance as an elective course.
Our extra-curricular activities include a strong athletic program. After school sports are offered for students in grades 5-8. Students are given the opportunity to participate in Volleyball (girls), Flag Football, Basketball, Soccer, Track and Field and Golf. Our JV and Varsity teams enjoy great success
In teaching our students the value of service to others, the school has mandatory service hours for our middle school students. They can accrue these hours through serving on the Student Council, through membership in the California junior Scholarship Federation, the National Junior Honor Society, the Scouting Program, Catholics in Actions, or any service organization.
Our school is blessed to have a tradition where parents realize the important of active participation in the education and extra curricular activities of the school. We are blessed to have an exceptional home and School Association that raises money and generously assists with the financial stability of our school. Through their unselfish service they have funded programs that support students and staff alike.
Most importantly, though, is what happens while our children are here with us and what goes with them when they leave. It is our sincere desire that our students will become and remain young people who will stretch themselves to achieve their maximum potential thus becoming faith-filled, literate, integrated, and contributing members of a multi-cultural society.

Home and School Association Board
The Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Home and School Association is an organization of parents who have chosen to participate more fully in the service of the school by organizing fund-raising activities, and by providing funds that directly benefit the students, faculty, and general plant and equipment. The association does not act independently. Rather, as an integral component of the school, the association serves as a consultative or advisory organization for fund-raising activities and other projects as requested by the school administration. The association seeks neither to direct the administration nor to control its policies, procedures, or curriculum, but rather to cooperate fully with the administration and faculty.
Parent Volunteer Programs
There are numerous opportunities for mothers, fathers, and grandparents to be actively involved at Saint Jeanne's. Parents tell their children what they value most by where they spend their time and their money.
